Dr. Alice Chan
Dr. Alice Chan is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. As a Dublin pediatric dentist, she loves working with children and is passionate about helping children have positive dental experiences and teaching them to maintain healthy smiles.
Dr. Alice grew up in both Southern California and Northern California. She attended the University of the Pacific 3+3 Pre-dental program, spending 3 years to obtain her Bachelor’s degree in Biological sciences before going onto dental school at University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry for the remaining 3 years.
Upon graduating dental school, she completed a year of advanced education in general dentistry. Afterwards, she pursued her passion and went on to complete a pediatric dental specialty at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she served as chief resident and obtained extensive training in full mouth rehabilitation under general anesthesia and providing comprehensive dental care to infants, children and adolescents as well as people with special needs.
In addition, Dr. Alice is also a part-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at her alma mater teaching dental students. She loves staying connected to the academic environment to learn and incorporate the latest evidence-based dentistry into her practice, providing the best care she can for her patients.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys exploring new places and spending time with her family and friends.
